A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is a legally non-binding agreement between two (or more) parties that outlines the terms and details of a mutual understanding or agreement, noting each party’s requirements and responsibilities, but without establishing a formal, legally enforceable contract.
Individuals who would like to establish an MOU with an external entity should email the draft document to spo@ucmerced.edu for review and execution.
