Sponsored Research Services has seen an increase in the number of After the Fact awards coming in to our campus. For those who may be unfamiliar with this term, we use it when referring to awards received without the proposal having gone through SRS. These awards represent serious policy violations. Because of this, all After the Fact awards must now have complete proposals created and submitted for routing before the award will be processed by our awards team. The routing list in Cayuse must include Vice Chancellor Traina as an authorized approver. His is the position on campus delegated the authority to deal with this type of policy exception.
